Welcome To The Campfire!

Since launching Camping Noire in 2019, I've become acquainted with the stories of many melanated groups, individuals, and organizations doing their thing in these outdoor spaces.

And it's only fitting that I share these beautiful, inspiring humans with you, so it's exciting AF to publish this first post and officially present Black Faces, Green Spaces.

Created in homage to my mantra that "representation matters," you can expect that every area of outdoor recreation that is being conquered by a woman, man, or child who identifies as Black, Caribbean Black, Indigenous, and everything in between will be amplified somewhere in these pages.

The campfire is high.

The tea is hot.

The chairs have been set out, and all are welcome.
